Auditórium in Palma

In a prime location in Palma, on the Paseo Marítimo seafront, is Palma’s Auditórium, a theatre, concert hall and congress centre. It was built in 1969 by Marc Ferragut, whose family still runs the Auditórium, after he had travelled half the world to study the architecture and acoustics of comparable houses. The Auditórium has nine performance halls, two of which, the Sala Magna with a 600 sqm stage and 1,739 seats and the Sala Mozart with a 150 sqm stage and 310 seats, are ideally suited for theatre and concert events. These halls have stages with all the necessary stage technology, very good acoustics and optimal visibility, so that concerts, theatre performances, dance, ballet and shows can be staged there. In the more than 50 years of its existence, Palma’s Auditórium has hosted 15,000 (!) events.

The annual calendar of events offers something for everyone interested and in every direction: classical and modern plays, classical concert, jazz, pop and rock concerts, Broadway musicals, ballet and dance, and entertainment shows of all kinds. There are also family-friendly events for young audiences throughout the year, but especially at Christmas time, with children’s musicals and fairy-tale theatre. On the first floor of the Auditórium there is a bar and a large terrace offering fantastic views of the harbour and the bay of Palma.
