Station 8: Rooftop Bars in Palma de Mallorca

Rooftop bars, which have long been a trend internationally, have also become popular in Palma in recent years. Not only the big hotels of the international brands, but also smaller boutique hotels in Palma have exquisite roof-top bars and restaurants on the roof terrace, in order to offer guests not only a culinary experience, but also a breathtaking view over the roofs of the old town to the sea. This is why I do not want to miss the opportunity to introduce you to four selected rooftop bars in Palma in this guide – perhaps, even within walking distance of your new apartment or townhouse in Palma de Mallorca.

Singular Palma
Hotel Francesc | Plaza Sant Francesc, 5 | Palma

The Hotel Sant Francesc is located in a historic city palace in the middle of the old town, which architecturally combines history and modern times in a harmonious way. The Singular Roof-Top-Bar is located on the 200 m large roof terrace with a small pool. Here, one can enjoy light, Mediterranean meals and cocktails during the day in the sun and with a great view over the roofs of the oldtown, also in the evenings one can be spoiled with a romantic atmosphere. Mallorca’s star chefs Maria Solivellas (Ca Na Toneta) and Alvar Albadaleja (Quadrat Restaurant & Garden) are responsible for the cuisine, who want to bring in the “special Mallorcan taste” – traditional dishes, reinterpreted with refined spices and aromas. Sant Francesc promises “Magical evenings to enjoy our creative gastronomy and cocktail service”. By the way: the hotel was awarded the title of Best Hotel Spain 2016 by Condé Nast.
